Blistering barnacles! Some short-sighted premie has put this up on Wikkipedia? sheeeit! - how funny, and yet how sad. Rawat's people will have a hard time answering this, and it's about time they faced up to the deception they're perpetrating on the public. But also how sad for recently persuaded/converted premies, to have put so much trust in someone who is evidently a blatant con-artist. (The old-timers could have seen through the bullshit long ago, consequently my sympathy for them is somewhat diluted). And that's what this Wikki entry proves the Maha to be. If he's not, he better get that description of him corrected - and PDQ (pretty damn quick!) For the record, here's what Maharaji/Prem Rawat actually said about "the Perfect Master": QUOTE "Every time there have been ... (corrects himself) ... there has been a Perfect Master, and there have been devotees, the devotees have always wanted to see their Perfect Master. Why has it been like that? And it has - it's not a new thing. It's a very ... old, ancient thing. Because this, this enlightened soul, or this Perfect Master, or this Guru Maharaj Ji comes - to save us. And if you put it in this context, if you put it in the context of, for instance that: "why would premies like to see - or why would devotees like to see - their Perfect Master?" It's a question, right? Why? But, the answer to it is also very simple. Why shouldn't the human being see his Saviour? The One who has come to save him". END
