I still think it's rare, though, not that it doesn't happen.  And I think to support the "addiction" schematic, it would have to be more common than that.

I certainly don't have any stats on it, but I personally can only think of one person who did something like that, and even that one didn't really join another group, it was more starting a new-age business.
