Your explanation for Rawat's behaviour (sorry, but I can't use the 'M' word) seems the most likely though it raises questions about how he can continue to believe this in the face of the evidence of his incompetence at bringing peace to the world and his negative human characteristics.

I remember once being absolutely shocked to hear him say he had now brought peace to the world and could pack up and stay at home if he wanted to. I think his reson was that there has been a premie in every country or he had flown to every continent. Whatever the exact details (I've made a complete mess of remembering them) his explanation was one of the most shallow and silly I'd heard.

The interactions you have just quoted show a person who is just plain nasty and neurotic. Does he have any idea of how incongruous his personality and his public quest to 'Spread This Knowledge' are? Was there still any idea within the premie community before you left that this knowledge and the inner peace actually do something, might actually effect some change in personality and actions of the devotees?

The person revealed in your website seems to be someone who would find it difficult to accept his perfect master, guru, revealer of light, meditation teacher, etc being drunk and nasty. I know I do. Do you think your reactions, overt or unconscious, might have been the reason you were expelled from the inner circle?

As for being addicted to adoration and money, well, I can't blame him for that. I'm sure that's very delightful.
