I've never much liked Netanyahu. He's not a warm cuddly Prime Minister...however, we have to ask why the Israeli people vote for him again and again. They may not like him but they feel safer with his uncompromising approach. When blanket statements are made about the Israelis " occupying " Palestinian territory, we are never reminded WHY they have done this. This was land "occupied" after a war when Israel was invaded by foreign troops. They feel they have to keep the land to ensure their security. They didn't invade, they were invaded. Look at a map. Israel is a tiny country surrounded by enemies ( ie muslim nations who are exhorted by the Koran to hate Jews above all other "infidels".The Koran also gives Muslims permission to lie ,if it is in Allah's cause.)

Netanyahu trusts no one and that seems to suit the Israeli people. All very well for Americans and the UN security council to pontificate, but they are not living in a tiny country , always having to be on full alert, surrounded by those who wish them harm.
