My father died - not completely unexpected, and not a grief-stricken event for me, as I have only known him for the last dozen years - pretty strange though.

So sorry I've not replied to stuff (Dermot- thanx for posting our songs -  our publicist  - at 20% - you'll make a fortune one day!!)

Dear Moley,

I'm sorry for your father, at our age death of our beloved ones has become familiar. This is not an easy year for you, I reckon, and I hope for better times.

Sorry to hear that, Moley.  Good at least that you did get to know him in the last decade.  No matter what, I think.  Anyway ... *sigh*

My father died 10 years ago this September. Whatever we think of these people who happened to be our parents the emotional bond runs deeper than we can imagine. I'm sure you know the grief will lessen but you need to feel it anyway. I am thinking of you if that helps.....

Sorry to hear about that Moley.

No words can really console but time is a healer.

Take care.

Sorry to hear that Moley. Mine died 8 yrs ago & I still smile when his memory pops into my mind. I was surprised how many people turned up to his funeral as he was a very quiet at home type, but they came from all over the place; San Francisco, Uganda, Ireland.....turns out he'd helped loads of people set themselves up in business.

Talk about hiding your light under a bushel.

Good luck.

Sorry for your loss.  My father died fifteen years ago of lymphoma.  He
was a farmer, but his first love was making candy.  He made all kinds,
from fudge to almond roca to stuff I've never seen anywhere else.
Ultimately he quit farming and went into the candy business.  He had a
reprieve of about 7 years after the diagnosis where he was in
remission, but it eventually got him.  My mother just keeps on
ticking.  She's a Christian Science practitioner so she believes it's
sort of her duty to live a zillion years.

Hi Moley

Sorry to hear your news...

not completely unexpected, and not a grief-stricken event for me, as I have only known him for the last dozen years - pretty strange though.

Still ....it's bound to churn stuff up & down, inside & out and round & round ...thoughts & feelings....reflections and what not.

Best regards ..
