Sky 3 last night - a documentary following three BNP women:

No1: a daft lonely woman from Rotherham who's husband had left her and her parrot - and she was taking it out on the ethnic minorities. She didn't seem very well informed on BNP policy - she was a bit vague about Nick Griffin's holocaust stance - she thought the holocaust did happen and was  overall a bad thing (except for the advances in dentistry it produced!!!). At the Red White and Blue BNP weekend (a few saddos in a field) you could see Nick G couldn't wait to get away from her. She took to the stage in saddo's field, ostensibly to read out her BNP poetry - but it was all about her bastard husband! She seemed, so far as you could follow her incoherent thought processes, to be campaigning on the jobs issue.

No2: a posh bird from the South who loved cats and the BNP (her 'baby') who is ready to take over the party (if asked). Talked a lot about 'pakis' and 'niggers' ('well, that's what they call themselves')- only in private though, she wouldn't say it in public! She was campaigning (on a stall with a couple of others) against the proposed building of a mosque. They were going to give out tea and bics in the manner of the WRVS in World War II (obviously a 'British' trope!), but gave up on the idea and just gave out leaflets (or rather tried to). They got heckled a lot by passing humans with brains. She wasn't particularly prejudiced against Muslims, just everyone except white British folks.

No3 (here, my apology to JHB) Wife of then party organiser - who's happy family was pictured on the BNP leaflet - driving around Yorkshire pointing out  that the Muslims are filthy, look after their cars but not their houses, and if we don't do something Britain will become an Islamist State. She obviously got her rhetoric from hubby, a spectacularly ill-informed tatooed individual, who's ideas on the history of Britishness would not get him far in a junior school history exam. Hubby told her she should ask for a white midwife at their child's birth -'Why?' asked the interviewer. 'Because they have a choice, so we should too' came the reply. (!?!)
