I'm just pleased I don't have to make a choice between the ghastly Trump & creepy Biden, but what I don't get & I don't think you know either, or else you wouldn't let yourself get caught up in it all, is why the political debate has got so low down & dirty.

These are local government elections so what a war 3 thousand miles away has to do with the provision of services in wherever it was beats me. People are slowly starting to notice though that voting according to religious and or ethnic allegiance won't solve local problems. Very, very slowly, but hey, GK Chesterton said it over a hundred years ago....'we are the people of England and we have not spoken yet'.....

Pat, I don't know if I believe that there's still some powerful English people who'll ever say spring forth and assert their sovereignty again finally. The demographics keep stacking harder against them, Muslims keep gaining further control of the levers of power and wokeness paralyzes and weakens our resolve to ever push back.

The theory of free speech, that truth is so much larger and stranger and more many-sided than we know of, that it is very much better at all costs to hear everyone's account of it, is a theory which has been justified on the whole by experiment, but which remains a very daring and even a very surprising theory. It is really one of the great discoveries of the modern time.

As an influencer he goes beyond the grave.
My grandparents & then their children, my parents, had a high regard for him. They never believed in eugenics, as neither did he, which at the time was very unfashionable. Only religious obscurantists like Irish Catholics didn't go along with the survival of the fittest idea & all the rest of it.
Until Belsen.
That was always in the background when I was growing up & I now realise has influenced me to be, for example, highly sceptical of the modern scientific death cult of global warming.

Actually, when I read "The Controligarchs" a few months ago, it became apparent how the eugenicists are continuing to strengthen their grip on the world (nothing smaller) through the WEF, the WHO and the tightening stranglehold on dissenting views. That was one book that floored me. I'd say it's essential.

The one thing that surprises me perhaps even more than the cops thing is how optional debate has become for the left. They can say whatever and not bother even thinking of defending their opinions against rational scrutiny, let along admit error when wrong. I fault the media for lowering standards this way. They don't, no never admit nothing!

The thing that I don't get is why there isn't a vocal contingent of ex-police who've left the service because they weren't brain-dead and too cowardly to draw a line on how much they'd serve the kind of dictates those cops in Moley's Lawrence Fox video were following as they arrested a pensioner for hurting peoples' feelings. That's a line I never imagined being crossed so easily - but it was. You look at those cops and wonder what programming they've taken on board and how deeply that leaves them seemingly oblivious to the outrageousness of the policies they're expected to enforce. So where are the dropouts? That, to me, was a bridge too far and yet here we are on the other side.

As you say the numbers don't look good, but then they haven't for the half a century since the political & commercial representatives of forces way beyond the ken of the likes of me,or indeed most others at the time,decided to press ahead with immigration from the old empire, regardless of the wishes of the public they were elected to represent.
As a bridge to make a stand on however, an anti-immigration stance just attracts accusations of racism. We need to be smarter than that. The way a religious/ethnic block vote can be put back in its box is if the indigenous use the same tactics. Vote only for one of their own.
Yeah, it's crap, but we can't allow these primitives & their revolutionary human hating allies to do a nazi takeover the way Hitler got control of Germany, by using the democratic system against itself.
I believe there are many people in the power structure who are fully aware of what's going on & are working behind the scenes to stop these bastards, & are having some success here & there. The great mass of the people are mainly still asleep at the wheel, unfortunately.
The cops............I see what you're saying, but is it so unexpected? They serve the status quo & never rock their generous pensions.
In a funny kinda way they're a bit like premies. I've never met a retired one who wanted to admit to being one, & they retire early so there's a lot of them about.

I would so much love to think that there are some behind the scenes strategizing ways to forestall what's otherwise inevitable, the impending deluge of not just foreign, because who really cares about that? but rather the hostile Islamic supremacists who are increasingly dominant, however, I don't see any sign of them. How could they have allowed Suella Braverman to be forced out of office? That, to me, was astonishing. Not just in effect but symbolically both. Yet nothing, no one saved her.

Well, there's nothing inevitable about anything in human affairs, & whilst I agree it doesn't look good, I still think we're a long way from all hope being lost.
Suella Braverman in effect kicked the Prime minister in the goolies. No-one's career in British politics has ever survived such a move, & hers was no exception, regardless of whether or not one agrees with her opinions.
I saw that by Eva Vlaar...etc a little while back.
Impressive.
I do like to keep up with the populists especially when they have movie star looks. It would be interesting to have the opinions of the people who read these forums about her. It isn't a long watch.
