So as some of you know I have been in the cult twice. That is a story for the other forum, but, as this is about the Donald as much as the Lord of the Universe, I’ll put it here…

Between 2016 and 2019 I saw Prem Rawat about half a dozen times. One year he did a 4 city tour of the UK. Pretty much every time he would weave into his ‘talk’ some banal political observations rather obviously lifted from CNN.

He liked ‘the last one’ (Obama) but he didn’t like this one (Trump). That was enough to bring claps and cheers from the obviously left-leaning premies. There was never any Reason why he didn’t like Trump, but he didn’t need one to get his mindless audience clapping.

I have rarely met a politically well informed premie, but I have heard a few say they vote for the Left without being able to give any reason. I always got the picture that they thought the Left was ‘nicer’ and perhaps more ‘spiritual’ (though Prem himself says he hates that word)

It was rather obvious that Rawat thought a bit of Trump- bashing would curry favour with his devotees. I repeat - he gave absolutely no reason why he didn’t like Trump.

I found the whole thing nauseating. After one event, in Belfast, I walked outside and declared to my friends ‘Well, he has just alienated half the American electorate!’

I'm sorry, Moley, but I'm curious about your return to the Maharaji cult

I know this is personal and what I'm about to say will probably be a little difficult, but you went back to the Maharaji cult? And now you're, IMO, in the Trump/MAGA cult. You seem to have a propensity for cults.

I know you will say that your political beliefs are not cult-like, but it sure seems that way to me.

Not difficult for me at all. I am not in a cult because there is no Trump cult. In any case I would have preferred Ron DeSantis, because he is so clear in his fight against the Woke cult.
You could say I’m now rather experienced at cult-spotting.
Been in the Divine Light cult.
Went to university and left that cult only to discover Academia was being taken over by the Critical Theory (Woke) cult.
Went back to the (then apparently decultified) world of Knowledge - a meditation technique that gave you a good feeling.
Began to see it was still a cult. At that same time the Critical Theory (Woke Identity Politics) cult was taking over our media and institutions.
Made perfect sense. Prem runs a cult. Prem loves the Woke anti-Trumpers.
Prem runs a cult within a cult. He is completely clueless.

The only choice is to get out of the cult Matrix. Think entirely for yourself and do your own primary source research. Rather time consuming but how else can you be a free thinker? You certainly can’t if you follow the legacy media. They all remind me of Rawat. They open their mouths and play to their crowd.
