Many happened during summer down time in late 70's/early 80's.  I must admit that I enjoyed the presence of the Hare Krishna dudes there in their saffron robes and tambourines. They assured me that I was into something real.  ....Thank the guru that he didn't have us wearing saffron robes.

I remember one at least from the 70s...77 possibly?  I really enjoyed hanging out at the Fontainebleau Hotel and using their beach. I don't remember the event itself though!

His boy is wearing actual pyjamas accessorised by diamond studs... all ready for hollywood then.... the video is more than 3 hours long and the poor red sari ladies are all rubbing their eyes sitting on the floor while the young upstart professes to know all, reminds me of when i was in a cult

Only skimmed the odd bit, but how very colourful! Will check out later the dance/drama thingy that happens before the son speaks.
There's no business like the guru business...

The still image (I did not look at the video) reminds me
of that lady with like the basket of fruit on her head, for
some entertainment purpose.

Okay now this is appalling: I googled 'fruit on head singer'
and the article for Carmen Miranda appears.

That's too much.

Guru Fruit-on-Head.

This guy sounds kinda p.o'd at somebody:

By time-index 5:17 there's no doubt this video is
on-topic (here in this forum).  Like I say, he sounds
pretty p.o'd about something.

Kind of interesting how satpal has inspired annoyance
even in the more traditional context (see first five minutes
of the video for that context, I think).

Not a cult.
