When Bernie Madoff perpetrated his fraud on his friends, acquaintances, and the general public, he did have accomplices. As I recall, a few even went to prison. Also, his ill gotten gains were pried loose from his family as well as himself.
Prem Rawat has also had accomplices as he morphed through several identities to arrive at his present jet setting mbassador of peace gig.
His family are surely accomplices. Marilyn must have been able to see that Prem was not the Lord of the Universe. Yet she has remained quiet, and at times appears at his side as of old. My kids find my every flaw. Surely Rawat's kids are no different. I am sure they see through him. His inner circle swears to secrecy about his behavior, thereby also becoming complicit in his ongoing deceit. Meanwhile the poor old rank and file premies remember the days of "Guru Puja". Guru Worship. Yep, he encouraged people to worship him for decades. Wasted years later, the rank and file can't bear to admit to themselves that they were had. It is easier to believe that their "Lord" is just pretending to be a peace ambassador for the benefit of humanity. Just another lila. And so Rawat continues to milk these premie cows to support his extravagant lifestyle while his family and inner circle remain silent. In my opinion, they are all guilty of aiding the delusion and using the rank and file for their own twisted purposes. And this started as a "spiritual movement" back when we were young adults seeking meaning in our lives. If Rawat presented himself then as he does now, he would still be back in India peddling his Dad's toxic message.
