Thanks again Lesley. The rat problem became horrendous at one stage with loads all sunning themselves on the lawn. Now no chickens and no feed and the numbers seem to declining. The neighbour put some rat poison down apparently so maybe that has something to do with it too. Good idea about sealing the coop to make it rat proof. Two of the chickens were young, the other pair about 4. Sis plans on some new ones in a couple of months. Tim |
