I was in Miami recently and went on a walk to the street the Ashram I first got satsanged was. The Ashram was torn down and is condos, but found the church parking lot I remember the premies who drove me parked in. And took the walk. Was interesting to walk on the path I walked so seriously so many years later. 

Your description of the Arti ritual was so great. I don't know if there were blocks. But the idea of some premie trying to solemnly and seriously play them makes me laugh. Plus the long pranamers and trying to step over them to get out while they basked in their surrender
