San, all I wanted to point out was the apparent "disconnect" between you saying that knowledge - taken by itself - is a positive thing and can do some good in the world, and then saying that you would not be happy to see a friend of yours getting "into" the techniques of knowledge. Warning! Will Robinson, that does not compute.
