I agree that POV was offensive and insulting to Susan but I think Susan's situation was not easy to understand empathetically. If I had not experienced the whole Sathya Sai Baba story who sexually abused young men and boys then I do not know whether I would have understood Susan, and may be I would have reacted to her, just like POV.
