20/20 Hindsight, everyone has it.  It is easy to look back and go 'yeah'.  But what about when we were in the thick of it, what then?

For me, my first alarms went off with the foot-kissing, because in the religion I was raised in, you just don't show worship to another person, period.  The second alarm went off when I saw the poster and heard the satsang that 'Guru is greater than God because Guru shows you God."  That too was taboo, to say that anyone is greater that God, for any reason, it's off limits.

What did I do at the time?  I folded and bought in, due to the tremendous effect being in his wake created at the time by suggestion or by momentum, coupled with the group mind of the premies who all thought he was God in Person.  But I never forgot those alarms.  I filed them as antiquated information that was obviously not important now, because HE WAS HERE.  But I never threw them away...something inside me must have known what was to be.

I imagine that many premies had alarms go off that they paid little or no attention to for the same reasons.  So we live and we learn and we grow and we cry and we smile.
