You are refusing to deal with the issue reasonably or responsively. If we were in person, and you said what you just said, the moment I got the drift that you weren't actually answering  - which you're not -- but are just throwing out words that don't even attempt to address anything substantive, I'd stop you:

"Lesley, excuse me, but that's not what I asked you about"

to which you'd say something, who knows what, but it wouldn't matter, because I'd insist on a rational, responsive intelligent answer. Not some random flim flam about Bonny Prince Charles. And we would keep doing that until you finally got the fact that if you're going to talk with me, do it rationally. Not evasively instead.
