It baffles me this business of not judging people. Perhaps that judge not lest thou be judged, maybe it's mistranslated. Maybe condemn not. That might make more sense.

Cos if we go around not judging, how do we make decisions? If we'd judged Rawat more carefully, and not fallen for his take on not judging (don't listen to your mind), we'd all have been a lot better off.

I'm aware of judging all the time. And it's not simply looking out for the negative stuff. How could you really appreciate the good or great aspects of people without making a judgement?

I genuinely don't understand why not judging even seems a good idea, and whether it is even possible, and why people talk about it as some kind of spiritual imperative.

Obviously, the meme is of immense value if you're running a cult, but otherwise it just seems wrong headed to me
