They were registered domains parked with the registrars, who use the parking for advertising. If they are gone you could register them and start websites for the entire family! When Amar is Perfect Master, amarrawat.org should be worth a bit.

. . . I thought that people who want to reserve a domain name without actually having a present use for it could simply purchase the rights for a year or so and then renew it. Is there some kind of cyber law that says that the domain name has to actually be out there in use? If so, is that why people would willingly let their paid for domain name be attached to websites that they don't have any control over? What is the central regulating/domain name issuing body? Does this organization then licence domain name issuance to various registrars? If so, are there any particular prerequisites to qualify a registrar to sell domain names to registrants besides money? I was wondering why the "org" extension for Amar. Telling - no? But anyway, please explain if you can. As NAR so astutely pointed out, I've been up for two days straight meditating and I haven't got a clue . . .

I haven't researched this in depth so this is based on my experience. I believe every registrar provides a parking service - some give a 'site under contruction' page while others use it for advertising. It is possible to own a domain but not to park it with the registrar, so anyone searching would get a 'not found' message. The central regulating authority is ICANN. I believe registrars need to get some sort of licence before they can operate. The .org suffix was originally intended for non-commercial, non-government, sites, but there doesn't seem to be any control over how these suffices are used., so don't read anything into this.I hope this has put you to sleep after your marathon meditation session. Those domain names are owned by PureVoice, LLC (as shown by a whois search), one of the companies that Rawat controls. PureVoice, LLC is involved with maharaji.net (see
Related Info for: maharaji.net) as well as some other stuff.
Some of Rawat's "poetry" (if you could call it that) is
copyrighted by PureVoice, LLC, e.g. something called
"Love is"
Purevoice LLC used to own wadahamar.net (I believe, based on web search results).
There is also a wahadamar.org, and guess who is involved?
None other than Mr. NPOV himself, Jossi Fresco. Oh yea.
