We could do with figuring out a sting to catch the anonymous bastard(s). Probably best not to post any suggestions here though...

The anonymous creeps who do this sort of thing know full well that there would never be any comeback even were they to be named & shamed.
All large companies & public institutions have been continuously revising for the last several years, the rules which their employees must accept to do with private computer use at work. I got an update several pages long just last week about this, but I deleted it without even reading it.
I didn't need to. I'm a good boy who's never sent even one private email from my employer's network anywhere, but maybe that's because I'm also an old paranoiac who never stopped watching the parking meters, despite having the nollidge of all nollidges .

You are limiting revenge to naming and shaming, and further, assuming that naming and shaming wouldn't do the trick. I have my suspicions as to the perpetrators, and naming and shaming would be a powerful deterrent indeed if my suspicions were correct. What we could do about it though depends on getting to know for sure who is doing it. I think that would be a fine start.

Hi 13, I don't know if any premie can be shamed. My experience with these fanatics is that they don't care. The whole "ex-premies as hate group" meme has been carefully integrated by Prem Rawat into the premie belief-system and that's a tough negative to disprove. I don't think they'd respond to what we'd characterize as shame Premies' belief system tells them it's okay to lie, be immoral, and even break the law in some cases because they have Prem Rawat, the Lord on their side. These premies comfortably slip in and out of these nefarious roles without blinking an eye, it seems. They don't see their actions as nefarious however, they see themselves as noble. Then again, anyone that uses a work computer for personal stuff, no matter what it is, will be proven technically wrong in the end. These premies are some sleazy operators, that's for sure. Looks like Prem Rawat continues to feel threatened by the "insignificant 20 or so ex-premies" that post online. This development is quite interesting. I agree with you about not discussing in public how to practically deal with this.

I knew there had been one or two premie anonymous mails to employers, but not as many as ten. Were all ten exes people who'd used work email addresses on their journeys entries? (Reply by email if you'd rather not say here.)

Nigel,
Some of the 10 have posted on the forums about this but I don't want to repost without their permission. I think only three had their employers identified by their email addresses. For some, they posted about their livelihood in more innocent times, not conceiving that their former brothers and sisters in love could do this. Certainly, I have no doubt whatsoever that anyone who now publicly expresses their opposition to Rawat will get the same treatment, except that those who haven't yet revealed all the skeletons in the cupboard will be treated a little more carefully. My fellow forum administrator, Mike, and the mole behind the 'trainings' transcripts fall into this category. Rawat's servants should bear in mind the unused ammunition in ex-premies' arsenal.
I'm also emailing you about this.
John.

I don't think Mike has revealed any skeletons in the closet but we can certainly live in hope!
