This one based on Lifton's work.

I did the test twice. Once taking a realistic view on Prem Rawat and the second one taking a very benign view of Prem Rawat.  My scores were 25 and 14 respectively. Scoring more than 10 makes for a cult.

What did strike me while doing the test was how the Rawat cult has changed over the years to tone down the obvious cult aspects. If I had done this test say in the 70s or 80s the scores would have been much higher.

Mine is 17 ..... and I've been very honest, answering according to how I now look at what I used to feel.

I'd be delighted to see some premies commenting on this test and their own answers !

Now, granted, this is from the outside looking in.  I tried to do it from just what I have seen, first-hand, and leave out my own feelings of how Rawat has affected me, personally.  My score was 28.  I'd REALLY like to talk to a premie about this test.  Or, maybe even, his lardship?  Hmmmm, Rawat, you there?

I'm a comparatively recent leaver after over 30 years in the cult. I did the test very quickly and easily came up with 24.

I did the test twice:

First, as I think of Maharaji's organization now, from my current perspective. This is what I think it is really all about, the objective reality - score 33.

Second, trying to put myself in the mindset I was in 10+ years ago, as a fully paid up member, answering each question I would have thought then - score 11.

If I had thought about these questions then, 10 years ago still as a practising premie, what would my reactions have been? Would it have made me think any more? Or would I just have dismissed the questionnaire maker as being in his/her mind and not really understanding what it was all about? I would probably have thought that Maharaji was above all of this, and that none of these types of question were relevant to him or us at all, they being lila and Maharaji representing the Truth.
