It is pretty obvious that Rawat, in his inability to distinguish real public honour and respect from PR bullshit would accept the Holy Grand Cross of the World Saving ShitKicker, 2nd class with Gold Bar from the Divine Monarch of the World Empire Ruling Kingdom of Ruritania even though that glorious triumphal ruler hadn't been in Ruritania since his grandfather was booted out in 1871 and who now works as a doorman at a 3 star Cairo hotel, if it was offered to him. And it would receive pride of place on his distinguished honours list on the TRPF website. But the weirdest thing he was involved in was surely the Citizens' Congress Bi-Centenary luncheon in 1976 where he rubbed cheek to jowls with Earl Butz and Strom Thurmond. I wonder if Thurmond groped Durga Ji? I wonder if that was the final straw for Rennie Davis, the most famous left wing political figure in DLM.
