Based on the old WW2 song I don't want to join the army, the lyrics became;

'I don't want to live in the ashram

Get up at six and six arti

I'd rather groove around

in the premie uinderground

living of the earnings of a good dope dealer!'

It was very popular at the time ('74) and and, in retrospect, quite antidotal.

Interesting cultural split you raise there Falcon. By the end of 74 I certainly did not want to live in an ashram and I always hated the puke making sentimentality or arti at six in the morning or any other time - but I also certainly wasn't interested in 'grooving' in anyones underground or in living off dope dealing.

Of course I can see that the song wasn't necessarily literal in its sentiments - but still I had to wait till 76 to hear anything remotely antidotal - courtesy of the talented Mr Lydon and friends.
