For the amateur sleuths such as myself, I have to say that this is all highly confusing. Whilst it's as plain as day that Prem Rawat is, & always has been, the prime beneficiary of the countless millions given over the years for the propagation of 'knowledge',just how he's managed to keep a clean nose is an interesting subject.

I think I might have got my head round how he's exploited the Charity Laws of England & Wales, but not Scotland, where there's a different & separate jurisdiction, so when it comes to how he operates in the US, I'm lost.

EV(US) is a Church, & so isn't required to account for some things, as I understand. Is TPRF a Charity, & if so, what does that 'mean'?

The only clear thing is that the smartest amongst the true believers decided that the Lotus should be kept on his throne by society at large, rather than by relying on private subscription.

To that end they cynically manipulated the laws in place, in the US,UK & Aust mainly, which were set up to help those at the bottom of the pile.

Anyway, this BBB org will never admit TPRF as a member, which is as it should be.

The Alliance looks for charity confirmation that its board of directors and/or a committee of the board carries out each of the following oversight activities:

* formally reviews the performance of the chief executive officer at least once every two years,
* formally approves the budget,
* ensures that arrangements with outside fund raising firms are made in writing,
* receives information (for example, a written summary) about the financial arrangements with such firms and, if applicable, the anticipated portion of the gross proceeds that goes to the charity,
* has formally approved a conflict of interest policy and regularly monitors it to ensure adherence,
* receives, on an annual basis, each of the following applicable items:
1. the charity's IRS Form 990
2. the charity's audited financial statement
3. auditor's management letter (if one is issued)
4. if there is no audited statement, then the charity's unaudited financial statement

If any one of the foregoing activities is not carried out, the charity does not meet this standard.

Can you see Linda, the Carnation Milk gopi Pascotto, calling her Krishna CEO, Guru Maharaj Ji, to account any time between here & infinity, let alone every two years.

They make me puke.
