Letter from Caz from U.k. who lives in Manali, himachal pradesh, north india. Met Prashant in the Goa ashram during the winter and asked him to come to Manali to help here as apart from me and one Swedish guy there are no premies here.

I wonder where they went. There were several premies there a quarter of a century ago, mainly supporting themselves in the exotic substance export trade. Manali is to Acapulco gold as Nepalese temple balls are to .......shit, I've forgotten what I was going to say.

Anyway, these guys were of an obliterated generation of premies, i.e the ones who got into it in India in 1969/70 & never became famous as founding fathers. Meeting a few of them in England in the late '70's, they were definitely outsiders of the cult mentality as it then was, but still devotees.

Joe has noted the evolution of the cult very well, through its different phases, but spare a thought for the aboriginals who were excluded as soon as Rawat took his 1st holiday in London. Their story has not been told. They were spat out in the ruthless drive for power, wealth, & priviledge, which is the cornerstone of the Rawat religion.
