From my perspective loving someone doesn't mean taking everything they say at face value. In fact, the ability to be honest and critical with my wife and others that I love has made our relationships much deeper and more meaningful. Of course that has to go both ways. I also appreciate an honest criticism of myself, which I hear often enough.

That's how people grow and mature Jonx. That Maharaji really loves you is for me a matter of debate, but let's assume he does for now. Certainly you would say that the moments that he has criticized you have helped you in your path of Knowledge right? The difference in the master/devotee relationship is that the flow of criticism is always one way.
