It amazes me that you and others come in here... post a few times... get responses and when you are revealed to be blathering apologia ....disappear! Then you show up again a few weeks later and begin all over again! How many times must it be expressed that when a person received k they were asked to give up their lives? "Surrender the reins of your life and I will give you peace" While this premie writes about how he kept his lifestyle... zen, girlfriend, surfing and tennis... he admits to disobeying the basic premise m was demanding. Then Jonx .. you come in here critisizing Joe's comments that express, once again, that m required total and absolute surrender. There was never any ambiguity about surrender. M said that in order to realize k you had to turn your back on everything but him. When I wrote a while back... and stirred up so much controversy about "fence sitters", this is exactly who I was speaking about. The persons that hid in the back... never committed to k or m, and took k and fit it into their own life, never giving up anything ... never taking a stand... never fully jumping in to the world of m, k or SS&M, those that Then come here ... and attack those that actually did commit. Claiming that it was our fault for taking m so literally??? Making the claims that we were the ones that were misguided. We were the fools. So Jonx... give it up... many have posted exact quotes from m where he laid it all out and expressed what he wanted. If you were one of the people that didn't fully abide or immerse yourself... great! No problem. In fact I commend you for not getting trapped.... however! However, don't dare come in here and attack any person who actually did give up the reins of their lives... then suffered the results of being manipulated by m or his organization, got out... and lived to speak about it. Be happy that you were one of the one's that retained your ability to discern. But then, if that were the case.... how do you justify still being a follower of someone that obviously (to you) wasn't worthy of being your leader. Seems that you cannot have it both ways... EITHER THE MESSAGE AND THE SOURCE OF THAT MESSAGE WAS BS, OR IT WASN'T. If the message and messenger were BS, and you understood enough not to fully follow those direction then, how can following today not display hypocrisy and dishonesty?
