I think Prempal was brought up in an indoctrinating way. Pobably other adults around him took over him and his "business" and propagation when his mother left.

It takes a lot of courage to abdicate for an earthly king - hardly any kings give up their thrones voluntarily. I imagine it might be as hard for a person who thinks he is a spiritual King/GOd...
