......I blundered around trying to be funny and made a bit of an idiot of myself ! ( I am not suggesting that that is what you're doing ) I made mistakes simply because it was all new to me,I didn't know anyone and , having just left the cult after 30 years, I was disorientated and wasn't sure where I was going.

All I knew is that these guys had , like me, had been there ( as premies) and got the t-shirt, and there was a chance they would understand and offer support at a difficult time.

That was nine months ago and I've stuck around , got used to everyone and learned an enormous amount.

I certainly don't want any religion preached at me but you have a very entertaining style , Susie.......if, as you say, you have no interest in the guru, why not "lurk" for a while anyway and get used to the general drift of things. You may find you have got something to offer this forum quite apart from " in-yer-face" Christianity ( which makes me cringe after all those years of  being " satsanged" ! ).

I have nothing particularly against christianity or christians ( quite the reverse ) but I can't stand preaching and that Holy Joe old fashioned bible-speak being used out of context and mixed in with modern language . Nothing personal you understand....really !
