Whilst it is true they longer reveal the techniques of meditation (that is done via DVD) some of the old timer 'Mahatmas' are still held in extremely high esteem by premies.

For example Charanand is currently in the United Kingdom being a 'special guest' at a series of programs up and down the country.  And the premies are ooing and ahhing about Charanand.  You would think that they believe he is some great 'realized' soul.  Oh! Come to think of it, they do!

I wonder what being a realized soul means in actual terms?  Someone who has stepped off the eternal ladder of karma?  Someone who woke up from the living dead?  Someone who sees Prem Rawat as the creator of the whole universe?

Sounds like something out of the Twilight Zone?

Speaking of Charanand.  I do hope the UK premies when they get a chance to chat to him will take the opportunity of asking him what exactly he knew about 'Mahatma' Jagdeo and what action Charanand took to stop Jagdeo molesting children and most specifically what he (Charanand) told or did not tell Prem Rawat.  Such a question and answer session has been a long time in coming.
