Yes the travelling was demanding for many and some undoubtedly felt they HAD to go for one reason or another but I think for the majority it was more pleasure than pain.

Also, I think I did not make myself clear about humiliation: personally I never felt humiliated by Maharaji. I enjoyed the experience of devotion for many years but eventually grew out of it. What I once thought was very dignified (humility/devotion) I found in later years to be not so dignified after all and I tired of the whole " I am/can do nothing, you are/can do everything" culture.

Anyway, hope this is clearer..
