We all know what we're talking about when Rawat is spoken of as "God," the perfect master, like Jesus, like etc., etc., etc... I've refrained from writing a post directly to ghi, mostly because I don't trust myself to not get carried away in that feeling of being someone who has no regard at all for Rawat & his fairground meditation trick,& to start swearing at him. There can be no real dialogue between current & past followers, unless those who still see some worth in a man who everyone with any sense now recognises as corrupt, flawed,& a nasty piece of shit, address this issue. I had a big swallow to make all those years ago, when the LOTU was just a fat kid with greasy hair, but I managed it eventually due to the 'seeing light' phenomenon when pressing the eyeballs. It seems to me incredible that the present day cult apologists don't have the courage of their convictions in this respect. Why not say..... he's Divine, that's what I think, so fuck you. Everything that ghi says is total bollocks;lying,self-regarding,false & creepy. Where is the proof that those who have been graced to be in the presence of the living incarnation are any better than anyone else? Quite the contrary in all too many cases. Leaving aside the 90% divorce rate, I recall many occasions when trying to get it on with premies, in the sense of getting any practical help with life, was just like talking to the wall. Express any interest in how someone made a living, especially if it was in any way related to what one was doing at the time, & down would come the shutters. I don't know what it was. Fear maybe, that the finely tuned balance between being in the world but not of it, might be upset if some blazing devotee you'd introduced to your workplace would pin the photocopier girl up against the coffee machine with satsang,& your low profile cover would be blown. Premies as a self-help group have been beyond useless. In the real world networking is so much easier. A 10 minute conversation with a total stranger over egg & chips is enough to get you a phone number for the next job,if the empathy is there of course.lol Never say die.
