As you say: "There are many ways of counting visitors (depends on the definition) however to give you a sense of the 'readership' this forum gets here are some brief statistics. For the twelve month period starting June '04 we have had 7,012,588 'hits' accessing 2,789,862 pages"This is very similar to the Elan Vital method of counting where every time a person goes to an "event" or even to different session at an "event" it is counted seperately so that the largest possible number is tabulated. How many different people (ot least IP addresses or any other method of meaningfully counting separate individuals) accessed the Forum? How many of those 7 million hits were meaningful ie the visitor spent more than 5 seconds on the site? and accessed more than one post, etc.
Thanks.
