Hi All, just a short message here. I know I don't post much, but I do"keep in touch" in my way...hah!
I have a premie friend who's getting somewhat tired of the scene. She let me know recently that she's being badgered by locals to go to these "keys" events, but apparently they are 4 hours long! She has a busy life as a working single mother of two teenagers, and just can't see why these things have to be so long!
I keep my mouth zipped. She has her own process, and I'm doing my best to just watch, with compassion.
It's also difficult for her to just drop everything and rush off to an event like the one in Miami, without sufficient time to arrange things with her boss, etc.
Yes, I remember!
It ended up giving me the feeling that "knowledge" is just a happy hobby for those with lots of money, time, and don't have to worry about the daily logistics of work and family commitments.
What do you think?
Best to all,
shelagh
