Hi Lesley,
Thank you for your reply. I guess we disagree that by turning withing leads to dangerous isolation. I find the opposite happens. When I turn within, mediate, practice, or whatever the correct word is, strength occurs, energy fills in, and confidence arrives. This enables me, like others, to be more engaging, more outgoing, more contributory. This is a real experience, that has positive impact. I agree with you the self reflection is valuable. Knowledge reinforces that, and seems to catapult one into the vortex of daily dealings, but with a clear perspective.
Being 'rejected' may mean a change of service, job, or aspiration. But does it really mean human rejection? I don't think so. Our ego needs acknowledgment, and Maharaji does not seem driven to appease our egos, but is who he is. Many have imposed their own expectations on how he or the organizations should react, but really, in the end, its our own acceptance that matters. It's not really rejection, but a different field that we are playing on. You are special for who you are, not because someone accepts or does not accept your role or job or effort.
Anyway, I agree with you that our fellow man is dear.
Thank you,
Ghi
