It seems you are implying that if a ex-cult member warns you a person can be “immune” to being brainwashed. I received many warnings from loved ones, friends, my own guts feelings, books read before I received K, etc. Nothing helped me, nothing stopped me.

The illusive trick presented was stronger than my own reasoning. All the reasoning to talk me out of receiving K. didn’t work.  Group think is very powerful being that it generates an energy that can make people believe and do strange things. You know that. Sai Baba's brainwashing is not much different.  That is why you stick around here, right?

These type of false teachers like Prem Rawat/Maharaji , I mean, he even proclaimed in those days before I got K. (as he does today, in a softer tone) that he was the LORD.

Look how his followers adopt “his language” but then insist that they were not ever, ever brainwashed to believe, that it’s about the heart, bla, bla…

The stuff he says is very “touching”, he is a con artist. a liar who has learned a few tricks to keep MINDS mesmerized. One of his quotes comes to my mind: “I swear on the Bible that I will establish peace on Earth.”. Another one: “Give me your mind and I will give you peace.”
