Well, I don't think I ever questioned that "empathy" doesn't work, and it is important, but I think it's something that just comes naturally; it's not something you can pretend to have.
To tell you the truth, Mike, I long ago gave up on trying to approach premies who post on the forum in any kind of fashion, to the extent of trying to get them to question their beliefs. I think it's mostly useless and very tiring, and I just don't have time for it anyway, nor care all that much, really. My focus has always been to assume that whatever gets said is for the wider audience. In that sense, premies can be valuable as grist for the mill, and because they can often demonstrate, unwittingly, exactly why we aren't premies anymore.
For years, on the Forum (I'm not sure if it's still true now, but I know it always used to be) that many more people read the Forum than post on it, like many times more. So, for me, that's the audience I'm always trying to keep in mind. I always have in the back of my mind the "new person" who has gone to some event, thinks Rawat is just an inspirational speaker, and might want to give knowledge a try. Perhaps they believe that there is nothing you have to believe. Perhaps they think it's possible (absurd though it is), that the "keys" are just a way to "get ready" in some mysterioius fashion to receive some free, nice, techniques with no strings attached. Perhaps they are lonely, or unhappy, and think this might just be the ticket for them. And there have been quite a number of those people who were helped by the forum, the websites, etc., including your website.
BTW -- I think the new www.prem-rawat-maharaji.info website is fantastic. Every once in a while I just read parts of it and I'm once again impressed. It's so well done.
