We are all so very unique in our experiences and personalities. What I enjoy most about reading these latest threads and the arguments and debate is the fact that it is so healthy. (well, most of it) and so... so different from the world of knowledge, where I learned to listen, and listen and listen and not to really question...if I did, there was the patronizing or judgemental body language/reponse. Here, as people react (what a new idea!!) from thier unique personalities, strengths and wounds, a vibrant thing happens. It's real life (well, maybe virtual, but defiinitely energetic).

Say, I have my own story of running into M but it was not a fantasy, it was at one of the Rejoice programs at the fancy hotel in Palm Desert (I saw Jim and Tammy Baker in the hallway there!) and I was in the mini store in the hallway buying tampons and I looked up just as M was walking past with his entourage (he walked around amonst the throngs at that event) and as I looked up he looked back and stared at me. We locked eyes until he was out of view.. So of course I was jazzed and told everyone what happened. "he looked at me, he looked at me!" Now it seems so pathetic, kind of like the stray dog that wags its tail at the least amount of kindness...I'm much better now, thank you.

I appreciate everyone here, although to be honest, my style is not typically confrontational although I can be pushed to it. But there were times, like Lexy, when any harshness was too much and I walked the other way...I am glad I stuck in here thru a few ups and downs as now people seem a little less two dimensional and more real. Can't wait to attend my first (whatever those get-togethers are called??).
