The website PRC says that Rawat's techniques come from a Radhasoami tradition but I thought they came from the Sant Mat tradition. Sant Mat and Radhasoami are related but different though I dunno the exact difference. Wikipedia (that, I admit, should never be used as the only source) writes the following about the difference between Sant Mat and Radhasoami."In contradiction [to Sant Mat], the view of the Radhasoami group (primarily held by Rai Salig Ram, the most popular of Shiv Dayal's successors) holds that Shiv Dayal was unique in human history."
If this is true then clearly Elan Vital/DLM is a Sant Mat group and not a Radhasoami group.
Dr. Reender Kranenborg who specializes in NRMs and Hinduism writes in his 2002 book that DLM/Elan Vital is the most prominent example of a Sant Mat group.
