Here's a lesson for you to learn:  When you make a joke here, and two or three people need to jump into explain that what you wrote is in fact, a joke, well take the hint:  You're not good at writing jokes.

That's exactly what I do, because my humor rarely comes across well in writing, and that's to people of all nationalities, because, IMO, if humor needs to be explained, then it just ain't funny material. 

Most often my humor comes off like a lead balloon in writing, but when people can see my face and hear my voice (preferrably both) most find me humorous.
