People have sued the cult claiming they had mental or emotional problems and the cult aggravated and/or caused them, and the cult had to pay out money as damages.

The cult has also been sued because they gave knowledge to under-aged kids without their parents' permission, which led to all kinds of problems and they also paid out money there.
