What do you mean by, "hit back so hard....?" Has someone physically harmed you or threatened physical harm? Have you been hit? By whom?

Why have you said this , Nar ? Did you truly not understand ? I was using the expression metaphorically. This expression is commonly used like this in British English ( not in American? ). I honestly get hurt emotionally to the point of tears by all this. So you " hit" me emotionally.

Maybe I am too sensitive to post here and will have to stop.
