Those MLMs were pretty well after my time though I stil remember the "Gold Rush" chain letter of the early 1980s. When I pointed out to one premie that you could only make money out of a chain letter at somebody else's expense and that at most of the people involved would lose their money he replied, I'm OK I've got in early. The daughter of a premie told me recently that MLMs and get rich quick schemes are still rampant in Rawat world. |
