Funny, I can't think of anyone I'm aware of who did something like that.  Well, maybe one person, come to think of it, but that person didn't really join a cult, just sort of started a new age business.

I wonder if length of involvement has something to do with it. 

I do think it's rare, though.

Maybe most of the premies I've known tend not to be the spiritual or new-age types.
