I agree, Bunny. It's not like being an ex-premie is some kind of honary designation that someone earns by posting on this forum a lot. Kind of a demeaning thing to suggest, IMO. Under that criteria, we could give Catweasel or "Doc" the designation of ex-premie. Yeah, right. As if I even want to be an ex-premie! Furthermore, his present attitude is hardly empathetic towards exes. He is enaging here more in his wiki editor capacity than on a personal level, ie someone who survived another cult (Sai Baba)
What's starting to disturb me about this rally-around-Andries "the underdog" mentality is that I'm willing to bet that the majority of folks here don't realize that Andries isn't posting here for his own personal growth primarily (I've never read much by him about that) but he is here to gather information for those Wikipedia articles and has installed himself here as some sort of permanent research scholar when he has no such credentials -- and worse, Andries has never even asked any ex-premie's permission to do that here. Yesterday, Andries stated that clearly.
I don't think some folks here realize that there are at least a dozen, or more spiralling out of control, dreadful articles that trash ex-premies in favor of Prem Rawat, some by name, and that Andries has said he's posting here in order to be most fair to the students of Maharaji who are his co-editors at Wikipedia -- not for his personal growth. And those co-editing premies are likely on Elan Vital's payroll! That's why Andries is practicing here what he calls "excessive skepticism," (so he can be fair to those premies) but, what really happens is he calls ex-premies here lying apostates in the process. Or, I doubt some here know that those those Wiki articles, that are clearly biased towards Rawat, are filled with disinformation, spin, and outright lies about Rawat, his teachings (past and present) and ex-premies (the hate-group) but, they are constantly being updated by the cult, weaving a whole new story of our lives in the cult and out, including their reinforcement of the allegation that ex-premies are a hate-group. And that's what Andries is most interestied in, being a Wiki editor, not our lives now as ex-premies.
Yup, folks are most likely to gang up on me for being much to hard on someone they view as weak (I think Andries is quite aggressive) when they really don't have all of the facts. So fine. Beat me up, call me rude, but down below, Andries indeed, called ex-premies a hate-group with distain. I'd like to hear Andries explanation of that or any of his supporters here explain why that gets Andries a lifetime pass on f8 as an honorary ex-premie. I'd also like to understand why he thinks it's black and white thinking for me to believe that his former guru, Sai-Baba, a monstrous child abuser, doesn't have any redeeming qualities, because, as Andries does think -- that Sai Baba is a good guru in some ways because he didn't sexually abuse all of his followers. Yuck, just that thought makes me sick. Yup Andries accuses me of having a thought disorder.
