Hi Andries, Cynthia asked me to operate, so although I'm really tired and I can hardly see where I'm cutting, I've got to go through with it. So If I miss and poke out an eyeball or something, well heck, I'm sorry. Okay, you've got this master/devotee relationship. If you read any of Rawat's speeches between 1977 and 1982, you will notice that they emphasize total surrender to him. That he is the most important thing there is. These sexual episodes of Rawat happened during and right after this time. I had first heard of it around 1980 I think and I think I saw the first victim around a year or so later. So let's just say, just for fun, that some of the people who had given up everything to him, moved into the ashram, totally committed themselves to him... let's just say that these people actually listened to what Rawat was saying in his speeches. That they actually believed him. What chance for free will would they have when Rawat asked them to take off their clothes? Okay that's the first question. So if the answer to this question is that they didn't have any, that is the right answer by the way, here is the next question. If they had no free will to say no, psychological slaves so to speak, how can they be consenting in having sex with Rawat? Okay question three. If someone does not have the capacity to say no to having sex to someone and this someone takes advantage of this situation, isn't that sexual abuse? And yes of course they see it as a privilege. They see it as the ultimate privileg in the world having sex with the goddamn creator of it. That doesn't change anything. Okay, another example. Have you ever watched those old Bugs Bunny cartoons where Bugs would just zip off his skin and become someone else? Okay so lets imagine that someone zips into a dant costume and has sex with my wife. She thinks she is having sex with me and is feeling as privileged as she ever does. Well she is still a victim of rape and the imposter is still a sexual abuser right? So you've got this Rawat guy who is zipped into the Lord of the Universe costume. Who says no to the Lord of the Universe when he wants to have sex with you? Hey, he gave you the body in the first place, you've got no right to even say no. Well I hope you're getting the point because my scalpel is dull. goodnight Modified by dant at Tue, Feb 22, 2005, 16:56:30 |
