Call me a black and white thinker all you want, but where the rubber meets the road, a pedophile is a pedophile is a pedophile.  They have no redeeming qualities in my eyes, and believe me, I know, Andries, I was brought up by one for the first nineteen years of my life.  I can say "oh I learned organic gardening, therefore, my father isn't all that bad."  But, that is incorrect thinking and illogical.  Yes, it's a nice thing that I learned organic gardening, but the abuse far outweighs the benefit. 

Furthermore, the dynamics of a the behavior and those around a destructive cult leader like Babba who is a pedophile filters down through the ranks and has a definite effect on everyone else, just like when one child in a family isn't sexually abused, but still is the child of a sexual abuser, lives in the controlling grip of the abuser, therefore most definitely and without question is adversely effected, whether the abuse of that child is overt or covert.  But, that's a very long, involved subject that's not the topic of this board.
