I'm also an outsider, in that my own involvement was limited, but my wife is an active premie. And, there are other people here who have an equally limited experience. But, unlike Andries, people like me don't bring an agenda like academia or new age religion to the forum.

As an outsider, my opinion is that Andries does impose his agenda on the forum. In Andries original post, he concludes, "Maharaji stimulates an uncritical attitude of the student towards the guru and towards the student's own experiences."

What?? If Andries took the time to read actual transcripts of Maharaji to his devotees, he would find that Maharaji is VERY critical of long-time premies. The Atlanta Training Session Transcripts bear this out. To paraphrase, Maharaji taunts, admonishes, insults, and raves at his followers that they are nothing but worthless swine.

Neville, I'm no academician. But, I do know this: first-hand testimonies and primary source material (like transcripts) are of upmost importance in the academic world. Based on his posts, I'm skeptical that Andries has even clicked on the EPO link to access that precious, first-hand material.
