Andries,This has been a good thread because it has exposed the deep misunderstandings you have about the Rawat cult. Although ex-premies (and premies) have varying opinions about Rawat's own beliefs, the evidence points to the view that Rawat still believes he is the Perfect Master with a divine right to rule his empire. Yes, he really does appear to believe his delusions. That said, he is extremely dangerous, in that he could at any time behave like Jim Jones (who was not considered dangerous before Jonestown).
BTW, you never gave me a proper response below when I pointed out a fundamental flaw in Galanter's research on premies having a positive response to believing in Rawat.
