Andries:This excerpt is from the John Wood interview with Rawat that Hilltop posted below and Jim is commenting on above. Specifically it is page 48 (first para.) of the interview as printed in "And It Is Divine", December 1973, Volume 2, Issue 2.
As Jim is pointing out in his post this is a text-book example of Rawatian obfuscation. One minute he is tantamount to being the modern Jesus, next he is only a disciple, like St. John.
In the paragraph that I referenced Rawat demonstrates his knack of spouting this kind of self-serving "nudge-nudge, wink-wink" spiritual blather that unmistakingly makes messiah-like claims without actually coming out and saying so directly.
It also aptly demonstrates his knack for speaking absolute rubbish.
