Jim, call it woke or perhaps just absurd overreach.

not sure which - or the context this arose from.

Things are getting more complex - most everything.

I see extremism as a problem from both sides of the aisle, and endorse neither.

one hopes to be able accommodate a range of views, and this is not easily or gracefully maneuvered.

Alan Watts once said that politics is turning from side to side on a hard bench.
